Technique #2 Toe Stop

Steps to perform the plow stop technique –

  • At first, you should spread your skates wider
  • Then, your toes should turn a little towards each other
  • After that, try to slowly closer your feet
  • Finally, do rubbing among the inside wheels each other.

Technique #5: T-Stop

You should know another terminology of T-stops. It will help you to avoid your confusion in the skating events. T-stops is also known as Tomahawk stop.

For the T-stop technique, you need to form a formation T shape with two quad skates. Moreover, to perform this technique correctly, you need to follow several steps. There are seven steps to do to implement these techniques. These are as follows –

  1. At first, you need to lower your knees
  2. Less weight containing a leg should be placed farther back.
  3. Then, uplift your back skate off the ground.
  4. Use your rear skate or leg with the perpendicular form with your front skate.
  5. Then, a back skate should be placed on the ground.
  6. Make sure your vision and the position of your hips synced with the forward momentum.
  7. Lastly, you need to drag your back skate up to complete stop of your speed.
